The Ashblight is burning the farmlands, and Gravenhold is the last city with a wall.
You are its new Gate Warden. The lottery picked you. Every traveler who wants in stands at your iron grate and slides their papers under it, and you decide who gets through.
Check the Transit Scroll: the house that issued it, its crest, the colour of its wax, the signature, the dates. Press their thumb to the alchemist's strip. Blue is clean. Green is the blight. Weigh the merchants' cargo, search the bags, check the monks' relics against the holy ledger, and pass the truth lens over anyone who seems too calm.
Every morning the King's raven brings new rules. No elves today. Only two houses' seals are valid. Nobody has seen the King on the palace balcony in a month.

5 noble houses, each with its own crest, wax and signature, all drawn like an illuminated manuscript.
A household to keep going every night: your father, your brother, and a pet you choose and name. Go short on bread or firewood and someone gets sick.
People who come back to your window: a healer who wants you to bend the rules, a smuggler with a gold token, an elf elder, a dying knight, and the Lord Chancellor himself.
When something doesn't add up, point at the two things that disagree, and they have to explain themselves. Sometimes there's a good reason.
There's no music during the day. Only the gate: rain, wind, crows, the lever, the stamp.

It runs in the browser on a computer with a mouse - not on phones. The download is for Windows. The first time you run it, Windows says "Windows protected your PC" - press More info, then Run anyway.
