In Trenches And Megadomes
A text RPG. Nuya has two worlds and a wall between them: the Old Realm of knights, hedge magic and revolvers, and DartMourn, a city of towers, neon and augments.
Finished, and waiting its turn to go out on itch.io. No date - it goes when the one before it has had its time.
Nuya has two worlds and a wall between them.
Outside it is the Old Realm: knights, hedge magic, muskets and revolvers. Inside it is DartMourn, a city of towers, neon and augments. You start on one side of the wall. Hunt, level up and build your gear, and when the Gate opens, cross to the other side, where everything is a layer harder and your gear hits harder because nothing there has seen it before.
It's a fight-and-gear game made to be easy to pick up. Two taps from the hub to a fight. One button to fight the next one. One line on screen always says what to do next.
What is in it
2 worlds, 5 places in each. The last two places in each world have been invaded by the other world's worst.
56 enemies, 6 of them bosses.
4 ways to start: a Squire or a Hedge Witch in the Old Realm, a Drainrunner or a Tower Defector in DartMourn.
32 pieces of gear across 4 slots, with upgrades. Gear from the other world hits harder where it doesn't belong.
Now and then something else waits among the enemies. An angel, or a demon with a deal.
The limits, before you download
The pictures are made with AI tools. I'd rather you knew that before you decide than after.
There is no sound yet.
It plays tall, like a phone game. On a PC it opens in a phone-shaped window.
Windows and Android only. There is no iPhone version, because making one needs a Mac and $99 a year.
The Android version is an APK file from here, not from the Play Store, so your phone will ask whether to allow it.
