Finished, and waiting its turn to go out on itch.io. No date - it goes when the one before it has had its time.

The bullets go straight through him.

Dec Bones is a private eye, and he is a ghost. Not a nickname. His face is black smoke under an old hat, and if he wants to shake your hand he has to concentrate to stay solid long enough to do it.

Someone in Dyrein is laughing. The Laughing Fit are ten of them, and they don't hide. You'll find out who they are one interview at a time, because every one of them has a story, and every story has a hole in it.

How it plays

You collect what you find as clues. When someone lies to you, you put the clue in front of them that proves it, and their story cracks.

Pick the wrong clue too often and they stop talking. The case goes cold, and you go back to the last choice you made.

Searches, interrogations, a case board, and a few fights you can't always win.

What is in it

Ten villains, one city, and a case that ends with a building coming down and a vault nobody was meant to find.

About forty minutes at my pace. It's the prologue to a superhero comic I'm writing, and the games that come after it.

The limits, before you play

The artwork and the music are made with AI tools. I'd rather you knew that before you decide than after.

It's short on purpose. It's the first case, not the whole story.

If you finish it, tell me which of the ten you suspected first.
